Hungarian Vizslas are often affectionately referred to as “Velcro dogs” due to their strong desire to be close to their human companions. This nickname comes from their tendency to stick by their owners’ sides, much like Velcro sticks to fabric. Having a Vizsla like my own Phoebe, I can certainly attest to this behavior! Here are a few reasons why they earn this endearing title:

Phoebe enjoys going for runs, playing fetch, and participating in agility training, but she also loves just curling up next to me after a long day.
